KDC-101 Semi-Automatic Tablet & Capsule Counter
The KDC-101 counts capsules, tablets, pills, dragees and similar solid products in batches. Set a target count from 1 to 9,999 pieces. A rotary system and electronic counter support repeatable counting across different product sizes.

How the KDC-101 works
Products pass over a glass turntable through the counting system. The selectable batch setting controls the required number of pieces. The original source lists a dust compensator and sensor sensitivity adjustment to account for powder accumulating on the sensor window.
Counting rates depend on the capsule or tablet size; see the source figures below.
Design and maintenance
- Stainless cabinet, fiberglass hopper and glass turntable.
- Product-contact parts described as stainless steel 316 or FDA-approved material.
- Collector provided for chips and powder.
- Replaceable parts, including electronic control boards.
